About me:

Hi,

thank you for visiting my profile. My name is Mateusz, and I teach Polish to foreigners. I was born and live in Poland, which means that by participating in lessons with me, you will have contact with the real language and its various forms – including both formal and colloquial speech. I am a graduate of Jagiellonian University in Kraków, where I completed my studies in humanities – journalism and social communication. I am also a graduate of the School of Polish Language and Culture at the University of Silesia, where I completed postgraduate studies in teaching Polish to foreigners. Additionally, I am a speech therapist, which allows me to use speech therapy methods in teaching Polish pronunciation to foreigners during lessons. I invite everyone to join my classes – regardless of your proficiency level or the country you come from.

Qualifications and experience:

I have been teaching Polish as a foreign language since 2019, primarily online, but also in person in Kraków. I completed specialized studies in this field and later collaborated with the School of Polish Language and Culture at the University of Silesia, where I conducted classes with students from various countries around the world. I also specialize in medical language, teaching doctors and other medical professionals. I have also completed postgraduate studies in speech therapy, which allows me to use speech therapy methods in teaching pronunciation to foreigners, helping students quickly and easily get accustomed to traditional Polish sounds.
I am a co-author of electronic textbooks for learning Polish as a foreign language at levels A1, A2, and B1, and the author of the next part of this textbook, this time at level B2. These books are intended for Ukrainians.
I teach at my own language school and also collaborate with various educational institutions in Poland.
I speak English.

Methods of teaching

Classes are strictly tailored to your needs. I am a great enthusiast of multimedia, so during lessons, I use, for example, virtual escape rooms and interactive exercises that I develop on various platforms. I practice communicating exclusively in Polish during lessons, which improves your ability to speak and understand the language.
I conduct both conversational classes – facilitating effective communication in Polish, and lessons for beginners.
